Funding and Fees

At Briary Pre-School , we run term time only- 38 weeks of the year, please see our term dates calendar.

We are registered for:

- Free for Two funding

- 9 Month Funding for children turning 2

- 15 hours free childcare funding for 3 and 5 year olds

-Working families entitlement for 2, 3 and 5 year olds

- Tax free childcare registered

Our entitlement hours are:

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 11.30am = 15 hours

Monday - Friday, 12.30am- 3.30pm = 15 hours

The hour between 11.30am - 12.30pm is not covered under the ''free'' entitlement, this is our lunch club hour and you will be charged £7.50 for this hour. You are welcome to take your child home between 11.30am and return at 12.30pm if you wish for a totally 'free' place.

Please note fees are subject to review annually.

Funding

Our current fees for non funded children and top-up hours at Briary Pre-School is £7.50 per hour, below is our current price, but this is subject to regular reviews.

Structure:

8.30 am to 11.30 am: 3 hours = £22.50

8.30 am to 12.30 pm: 4 hours (including lunch club) = £30.00

12.30 pm to 3.30 pm: 3 hours = £22.50

8.30 am to 3.30 pm: 7 hrs (including lunch club) = £52.50

Payments are due the first week of every term and you will receive an invoice with a full balance.

We accept cheques, bank transfers and cash as a form of payment

Termly payments are to be made on your child’s first day of term. If you wish to pay weekly then you must pay your first instalment on your child’s first day, fees cannot be paid in arrears.
The Pre-School will be issuing penalties if payment has not been made.
If you have any outstanding fees please could you contact the manager as soon as.
If you are paying by bank transfer please either email us or let the Business & Finance Officer know you have made a payment.

We also accept student finance childcare grants for university students with children, we are also here to help with universal credit childcare payments.
