Registering Your Child at Briary Pre-School
We’re delighted that you’re considering Briary Pre-School for your child.
We aim to make the registration and settling-in process smooth, welcoming, and child-centred.
Step 1: Enquiry & Registration
To begin the process, please complete our registration form and return it to us as soon as possible. As spaces can fill quickly, submitting your form early gives you the best chance of securing a place. You can either email us or hand it in.
Step 2: Registration
Once we have received your registration form, we will contact you via email or phone call to discuss and support you as well as with any funding applications.
Step 3: Home Visit & Paperwork
Once registered, we arrange a home visit. This is an important part of building a strong partnership from the very beginning.
During the visit we:

Meet your child in a familiar environment

Begin building positive relationships

Learn about your child’s interests, routines, and needs

Answer any questions you may have
Home visits help children feel more secure and confident when they start with us.
During this time, we also complete more detailed paperwork, including emergency contact information, medical and allergy details, and consent forms (such as image permissions), ensuring we have everything in place to keep your child safe and well supported.
You will also receive a confirmation letter outlining the agreed sessions your child will attend and the associated fees. Each term, you will then receive an invoice from us.
Step 4: Settling-In Sessions
Before your child officially starts, we offer settling-in sessions to help them become familiar with the setting, staff, and routines at their own pace.
