Welcome to Briary Pre-School, a committee-led, registered charity located on the grounds of Thornden Wood Primary School. Although we operate independently from the primary school, we are proud of the strong and positive links we have built as close collaborative neighbours.

We are also fortunate to be part of the same community campus as The Briary Family Hub, enabling us to support families within a wider network of local services.

Our setting is based at the rear of the school car park in a spacious log cabin, with access to two well-equipped outdoor learning areas that encourage exploration, creativity and active play. We offer places for children aged two to five years and operate during term time only (38 weeks per year).

At Briary Pre-School, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to ensure every child enjoys a happy, active and engaging start to their education.

 

We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow in confidence and develop socially, emotionally and academically at their own pace.
